Pollution: Closing school roads improves air quality levels

Results of a new study show that 1) ___ (CLOSE) roads near schools during pick-up and drop-off times can have a huge impact on 2) ___ (REDUCE) air pollution in the area. The research, 3) ___ (PUBLISH) by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, involved 4) ___ (INSTALL) 30 sensors at 18 primary schools in Brent, Enfield and Lambeth to record levels of nitrogen dioxide. It fell by 23 percent outside one school in Enfield in London and by 34 percent outside the other one.
